The Uplifting Yoga Studio is a virtual studio based in North Lakes where you can participate in live online yoga classes each Wednesday and Friday or enjoy the convenience of accessing on-demand yoga video classes from the comfort of your home or workplace.
Each yoga class is a chance to build the mind-body-breath connection, to bring your body into balance and to uplift your spirits. You are just one class away from a good mood!
YOGA CLASS SCHEDULE
Uplifting Yoga Virtual Studio Classes
Wednesday 6am “Energise – Hatha yoga (60 Min)”
This class is designed to promote healing, relaxation, and connection though the practice of yoga. The gentle pace of the class allows for centering and long deep stretches with an emphasis on moving mindfully and within our body’s limitations. It is suitable for all levels. There is attention to alignment to prevent injuries, a focus on releasing tension in the body and slower transitions between the poses. Your practice will also include breath work and meditation to release stress and improve health and well-being.
Coming soon: Restore – Yin Yoga (60 Min)
A slow grounding practice which focuses on working the deep connective tissues and joints of the body to improve well-being. The class will consist of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. The class will also include a range of breathing practices (Pranayama) to control the breath, which is the source of our prana, or vital life force energy and Meditation.

Community Yoga Classes
FRIDAY 6:15am “Active – Hatha Yoga (45 Min)”
A combination of dynamic (flowing) and static yoga poses, sequences and breathing techniques. The class focusses on combining movement with breath. It is a workout for the mind, body and spirit. This class is suitable for all levels with modifications offered to support your yoga practice. This class is managed by Live Life Get Active and sponsored by Stockland. Location: Spinnaker Park Newport.

BOOKING INFORMATION
- Bookings are essential for all classes
- Community class sizes are currently capped
- You are required to bring your own yoga mat and props to community classes
- Yoga classes generally operate during school terms only, except for online classes
- Before class, you will need to complete the health questionnaire which is linked below
