Welcome

I’m so glad you’re here.  This may be the beginning of your wellness journey or the next step on your path.  Either way I welcome you to the Uplifting Yoga Community.  Now is the perfect time to think about the direction you want your life to take in 2024. If health and well-being are your top priorities, you’ve come to the right place.

My yoga classes help students to build strength, flexibility, and balance. There is an emphasis on learning the correct alignment and building a connection to your breath. You will learn to explore movement that is right for your body in this moment by listening to the messages or sensations the body sends you.  Yoga is a full body workout that will leave you with uplifted spirits. It can help you to reduce stress and anxiety, increased circulation, reduce neck and back pain, improve digestion and thyroid function and more.

My students report that they have more energy, improved health, and well-being as well as a heightened sense of awareness.  The practice will also strengthen your connection to your body, mind and breath as well as boosting your mood and confidence.  But don’t just take my word for it, join us for class and try yoga for yourself.

Like Yoga, Ayurveda is ancient Vedic science originating in India.  It’s a system of traditional healing that aims to correct imbalances to help you achieve a long and healthy life.  By making the right lifestyle changes and modifying habits that are not serving your true nature you can improve your health and wellbeing.

Ayurveda serves as a holistic wellness system that integrates Yoga as one of its tools for healing body and mind.  They are inter-related healing disciplines.  If you’re ready to take your Yoga practice to the next level and learn how to self-heal, the wisdom of Ayurveda is what you need.  You can learn more about Ayurveda in my workshops, private coaching sessions and yoga masterclasses.

I know both how hard it can be and how important it is to find a healthy work-life balance and time to nourish yourself inside and out.  My personal mantra is “stop, breathe, reassess”.

I am forever grateful for the ancient practices of Yoga and Ayurveda that have given me the strength and wisdom to restore balance, renew my energy and calm my mind.  I’ve been teaching group and private yoga classes for the last ten years and more recently started incorporating Ayurveda lifestyle practices into my offerings.  It is my dharma to share the wonderful experience of Yoga and wisdom of Ayurveda with people like you, through my teaching and wellness coaching.  If you’re keen to move your body, connect to your breath and live a life in balance, then I’d love to meet you.

Uplifting Yoga Classes

Whether you’re a complete beginner or a dedicated Yogi there’s an Uplifting Yoga Class with Tracy that’s right for you.  You can find something that fits with your schedule including online classes or an outdoor community class at Spinnaker Park Newport on Friday mornings. 

The Uplifting Yoga Studio is a virtual studio based in North Lakes where you can participate in live online yoga classes each Wednesday and Friday or enjoy the convenience of accessing on-demand yoga video classes from the comfort of your home or workplace. 

Each yoga class is a chance to build the mind-body-breath connection, to bring your body into balance and to uplift your spirits.  You are just one class away from a good mood!

Ayurveda

Ayurveda is the ancient science that teaches us that everything in nature is interconnected and interdependent and that human beings, blessed with a sound body, mind, and spirit, are inseparable from the natural world.  Ayurveda is the science of life, through which we can restore the “balance” between the mind, body and spirit to improve our health and wellbeing.

I will guide you to be deeply at home, at ease, and aligned in your body through the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and her teaching background in Yoga and yoga philosophy. I will guide you into the same habits that yogis have used for thousands of years – helping you to recover your innate vibrancy, rebuild your immune system, discover your daily rhythm, and live your life with purpose.  This will awaken you to the power of self-healing, Yoga, and Ayurveda.

Rather than continuing to suffer from the stress of being disconnected from earth-based rhythms you can learn to evolve your daily rituals and awaken your power to self-heal.
